No matter how your bracket might have fared, with the NCAA March Madness tournament final four kicking off tomorrow (April 2), there’s still time to enjoy some of that big fan energy. The final four and championship games will all be broadcast on TBS, but for those who have cut the cord on cable, here’s where you can stream the remaining games.

Sling
Sling has three levels of subscriptions and TBS is available on each of them, so new subscribers will only have to decide what else they’re looking for in a new streaming platform. The orange plan ($35/month) includes 32 channels, 50 hours of cloud DVR storage and one device stream. The blue plan ($35/month) includes 43 channels, 50 hours of cloud DVR storage and three simultaneous device streams. Combining the orange and blue plans costs $50/month, includes 51 channels, 50 hours of DVR storage and three simultaneous device streams.
YoutubeTV
A YouTube TV subscription includes access to more than 85 channels, including TBS—not to mention NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS and special events like the World Series. Unlimited Cloud DVR allows recordings to be saved for up to nine months. A basic subscription, which will run you $64.99/month, can be shared with six accounts and up to three simultaneous streams are allowed. Premium add-ons are available for an additional cost.

White Sox games are broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago and there are three major platforms you can count on. YouTubeTV and Hulu + Live TV both include NBC Sports Chicago for subscribers who live within the Chicagoland market. The third option is getting a subscription to Fubo TV, branded as the “world’s only sports-focused live TV streaming service.” There are 100+ channels, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, MLS, golf, tennis, boxing and more. And don't forget about the coverage of special events like the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Olympics.
Plan options include the Starter Plan ($64.99/month) and the Elite Plan ($79.99/month). The Starter Plan features 118 channels, 250 hours of cloud DVR storage and 3 simultaneous streams, while the Elite Plan features 164 channels—plus 46 additional entertainment channels like Cooking, DIY and BBC World News—1000 hours of cloud DVR storage and supports up to ten simultaneous streams.

We shared last spring that all Cubs games would be broadcast through Marquee Sports Network. Currently, Marquee Sports Network games are still available for streaming through Fubo TV.
There have been rumors that Marquee is looking into launching a standalone streaming service in 2023, which would be yet another big change for Cubs fans just looking to watch the game. No launch has been finalized though, so no need to worry yet. When that changes, we’ll be sure to share the details.

HBO Max & Discovery+ Merger
|
|
Just last month we reported on the looming merger of AT&T WarnerMedia and Discovery's looming merger. Now that all there is left to do is dot the i's and cross the t's, there's even more insight as to what this merger means for subscribers.
It has been announced that Discovery Plus and HBO Max will be merged into one platform. Creating a combined service will take some time, so it's likely that the first stage will be to offer a bundled subscription that includes both Discovery Plus and HBO Max. There's plenty more information to come, but let's hope that this merger offers an opportunity to create an exciting new platform that is more user-friendly than the current, notoriously-buggy HBO Max interface, and offer an even wider selection of exciting new streaming titles and old favorites alike.
