Last month we launched our completely revamped MarshmallowStreaming.com website. It was a project a year in the making and we couldn’t have accomplished it without the efforts of the whole Marshmallow Streaming team. We pride ourselves in making every step of the process to find your perfect streaming solutions low-stress and easy to understand. Our new website is just the most recent example of that goal. Be sure to check it out if you haven’t yet, and keep an eye out for these unique elements—all designed to make your experience the best it can be.
Our website will guide you through the full process of finding digital solutions for home WiFi, streaming, TV audio and video, and home security that fit your specific needs. If you purchase devices from us, you’ll be able to schedule an installation day that works for your schedule immediately after checking out and take the guesswork out of setting up your new products.
Customers now have access to a unique account portal that details your order history and other relevant details like the start and end dates of internet and cable contracts negotiated through us on your behalf. If important deadlines are coming up or rates are going to increase, we are able to track this information and alert you. We hope it brings more peace of mind to the process.
Explore our step-by-step guides—with helpful photos—on top streaming services, devices and WiFi routers. Learn everything from setting up new accounts to canceling subscriptions, all in one place.
Peacock's Winter Olympics Hub
With the Beijing Winter Olympics (running February 4-20, 2022) about to begin, Peacock is doing all it can to make sure sports fans are appeased. Peacock unveiled its Olympics coverage with last summer’s Tokyo games and the viewer frustration was evident over delayed replay coverage and many events being left off the platform altogether. In an age when more and more customers are looking to cut the cord on cable, the strategy was clearly misguided enough to have Peacock completely revamp the way they presented Olympic and Paralympic coverage this time around.
In order to really brand themselves as the streaming home for Beijing, Peacock is promising “every live event and gold medal moment to exclusive daily shows, channels and original documentaries, viewers will be able to easily catch-up and keep up on all the action throughout the Games with our comprehensive Olympics hub on Peacock,” according to Kelly Campbell, Peacock president.
This access is only available for Peacock Premium ($4.99/month) and Premium Plus ($9.99/month) subscriptions, but that gets you access to live and on-demand viewing of all 15 winter sports, opening and closing ceremonies, medal ceremonies and more. Let the games begin!
More From Peacock:
New Live News Channels
Not only is Peacock elevating its Olympics coverage, the platform is making an even bigger pitch to cord-cutters by rolling out local live news coverage in select markets—including Chicago. It’s clear that the competition between streaming providers is heating up and live news is a big selling point for subscribers. This announcement means that all subscription levels will be able to access 24/7 live news coverage from Chicago’s own NBC 5, as well as the rest of the existing Peacock live TV lineup.
WGN Launches Streaming App
Even more news on streaming local channels—Chicago’s own WGN 9 has launched its own free streaming app, WGN9+. Now available for Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire devices, the free app features all WGN newscasts, as well as select programs and specials. This is in addition to the WGN-TV News mobile app, for on-the-go viewing. This is a win for local news lovers who often find their go-to sources left out of major streaming packages.
A Final Word
We hope you get the chance to explore the new website in the coming weeks and discover (or rediscover) all of our services. As always, if you have any questions, we want to hear them. Get in touch today by visiting MarshmallowStreaming.com.
